We took a ride over on Saturday morning to check this place out. Neat store! It’s kinda like a Tractor Supply, with a little Home Depot and Agway built in. They have a good selection of tools, some auto stuff, a solid outdoor and firearms section and automotive. They even have an outdoor garden center. I remember when this used to be a Wal-Mart, so it was interesting to see how it’s changed. Oh, they also sell Stihl stuff which is a nice bonus.

Saturday was the soften opening. Grand Opening is coming soon.

Oh, and the drive through packie is still there!

We have Renys and Mardens in Maine. Renys carries a lot of really good stuff. It really is not a small store, often locates in old supper markets that have move to larger digs or failed. Mardens like to move into the old WalMarts. It sells overstock, storm damage, etc. at bargain prices. Doesn't keep any particular lines in stock, It is like a huge yard sale of new stuff. If like something at Mardens, better buy it then because it will be gone when you come back.

 

I make a point of stopping at Mardens whenever I drive through Portland. SpongeBob merch! Halloween store overstock! Never know what I'll find.
