Very nice! Wonder if you need to seal the cut, putting in and pulling out the chains will cut through it anyway. This summer, no saws in cuts one door slightly ajar and a box fan running might move enough of the hot air to "kiln" dry the log and prevent the rusting they are experiencing. Good for both of you on seeing a problem and a fix that both agree on!

Nice looking shed. Looks like you are going to use it for all of your outdoor power equipment with all of the tools needed for servicing them. Looks to be big enough for a small frig in it for some cool refreshments of your choosing.:drunk::coffee:

Great idea. Yes sir, that's what I'm going to use it for. Ive got to get a wire run to it, a small panel mounted, lights and receptacles put in. Probably going to put a couple lights in the tractor shed next to it too.

I sprayed some WD40 on the bars and into the slots today. It will get hot in there this summer..

Thats really nice Jeff! Love to have one of those around here. Only problem is id start putting firewood in it and run out of room pretty quick. Perfect use for cedar log. Is the tractor going in there too?

Looks great Jeff! Try fluid film on the saw bars, that will keep them sealed from rust.

No sir, it's in the shed next to it. Thought about putting the zero turn mower in there, but that will take up to much room too, guess it will stay in the tractor shed too. I want to build a stand to mount the chain grinder on, making more shelves too.

boiled linseed oil works for preventing rust. Never used it on a chain saw though. Rub some bar oil on it maybe???
