Thanks for the lead but unfortunately I ordered 2253 this morning. I should have checked forum during the day. Suppose to be here first part of next week.

There is nothing wrong with ordering locally. It is a great benefit to have a local dealer for after sale & future needs.

Any one know if the 2260 will come with a wrap handle like the 562?

Doubt it, being a small mount saw vs large mount, but would the handle from the 562 mount up?
    It'd be gray though...

Just remember, run several tanks through it before making any judgement... Those saws get stronger with more use, right through 20 tanks...

Same list price as the 562 wrap. If I were to get one it would be the 562 since it is a large mount and I wouldn't have to buy more bars. I'm thinking 60cc, 90cc, and 120cc.

Stihl 261 cuts good too !! hahaha I have had Stihl saws....and now I really dont . Im just not confident with one in my hands . Im a Husky guy...becoming a Dolmar guy too ...but I really do like that Stihl in the vid . Not trying to start anything..because I really do love any saw that cuts wood !! Id kinda like a good Stihl in my line-up again though !!

To be fair, the one in the vid isn't exactly factory original.....

The new m-tronic Stihls are excellent. Pick a size and try one out. I like the new Huskys too but seems like you got your bases covered there. ;)

Im definetly good there for sure !!! hahaha I like the 50cc range..and down . The wood I get into hardly ever requires more power..and more saw weight ! The 261 sounds interesting...and I have heard a few things about a 241 as well . Ill definetly have to sell a few Husky's and get a Stihl . Gotta even things out :)

The MS241C-M is supposedly coming to the US this summer.

Apparently they can be turned into little monsters too. :)

Picked up the saw yesterday. All I can say is wow! I have always been a Stihl guy but I really like these Jonsereds. 2253 feels lighter and snappier than my 261C. It has slightly smaller dimensions than the 2245. Started right up and took a little bit for carb to settle in which I assume is the autotune doing its thing. Well pleased with purchase so far.
