Jeff, "WELCOME"!!!! you snuck in here undetected! Sit back and enjoy the show! I see you have a "vast" collection of saws, we like pic's here !!! Lots of them! I'm sure Thistle would like to see your Mac's. Tasmania, Wow cool! Again, welcome to the best place on the web with all the best folks!
Thanks everyone, it's very balanced with the 28" lite bar. Eye balling a few 36" bars just haven't chosen one yet. Haven't even fired it up, hoping to do the muffler mod then run it.
Thanks for the welcome I really most take some picks of my saws as i only have a couple at the moment
This was all want !! My MS362 does 90% of my cutting, I have a 38-40" tree to fell and wanted a big saw. don't see allot of 40" trees here where I live but now when I do I can smile and say OK big boy !!
If you want a better flowing spark screen, PM me your address and I will send you one like mine Congrats on getting one heck of a muscled up saw !!!!
Kinda looks like this one. I just picked it up yesterday as well. I only put a 20" on it, as I don't have a 20". I'll be scouting which tree to cut after work today, but I got a good idea that the 20" will come off and my 28" Sugi will go on it. I wanted the 20" so I can limb with it, to get it broken in so I can send it off for port work. I only started it a few times, to make sure my hour meter I installed on it was working. I almost don't want to get it dirty, it's so purty!!
Congrats on the new saw! My advice though, wait until the "break-in" period is over before deciding on the MM. Somewhere around tank 6-7, it will find a whole new gear. I think the m-tronics detunes the saw for break in. I'm really liking my Tsumura 36".
I got it from AS member "thechainsawguy", through his ebay store. It was a great price too, due to strong US dollar. I think he shipped it from CAN west coast, so delivery took a little over a week - had to clear customs etc.
Did you have to do anything to the bar to get it to oil right? I have a Sugi bar I had to modify so that it would oil the chain properly. I wasn't the happiest having to do that with a $100+ bar, brand new! I did find his ebay store page, thanks!
You gonna love dat bad boy! I gots me one back in Januarry. I started with a 32" bar but theys jest no trees big enough for dat 32. I's down to a 25" with a 28" for da big stuff. Yous have all da fun yous can standand some ya can't!!
