Ok dang phone and not proof reading.

There was "gas outside my saw. Which tipped me off to the problem" is what it should of said.

I figured that's what you meant but for some reason it hit me as really funny when I read it the first time. I actually stopped for a second and was then like o I got it lol

I do the same thing. Some stuff it puts in there is so funny I leave it. Like the "cancer ring" that I had to put onto my saw. Should of read Caber which is what I wrote but auto correct turns it into cancer. Got an android go try it. It will correct Caber to cancer. I left it then pointed it out in a future post

If you watch what your typing and look at the spelling? Then you can change it. If you save the word ("arrow" in word line) then the real word will come up everytime. When you go to type "Caber"? It will come up.

Even people who don't use phones proofread when using a keyboard.

I love you to death Clem and you of all people should know that. Honestly....

I am better with a keyboard. On my computer say when at work there is red squiggles under each misspelled word. I type then go back and correct them. I often times have 2-3 misspellings per sentence. I have a desk job, I know scary right!! Well part desk part field. I personally hate driving a desk and computer, but you have to these days to make decent money.

I type mostly emails and word documents. Many of my word documents are templates that I just type over.

I have always been told that I am an excellent forester its just the admin stuff that I struggle with. Its because I'm ADD and I hate desk work. I'm an outside type person. I am lazy in the aspect I try to make every thing as easy as possible but it blows my mind how lazy some folks are and how little they do and what it takes do get them motivated to do anything.

I am trying here to do better. I'm not there yet. I probably never will be. Seriously I am a perfectionous at somethings like mechanical stuff but typing I dont care much. And yes it makes me look and sound like a total idiot...which I'm not. I dont like it its just part of me. Working on it though as slowly as it may seem.

Ok random rant about me to the side. Weren't we talking about a saw at some point?

What happens when a word is misspelled, but the misspelling is also a correctly spelled different word?

My ex had something on a resume where she meant to say she had 'discipline', but when spelled wrong it auto corrected to 'disciples'. It was a resume to be an elementary teacher. She didn't get the job.

Spell check is nice, but it surely has it's shortcomings. The upcoming generation won't be able to spell at all.

Clem, it really makes no difference to me, and it's good for some laughs sometimes. It does seem to bother Dex, however.

I get why it bothers him. He is a mod and they try to make the site appear as professional as possible. They dont want it looking like a bun k of hicks who can't spell , with run on sentences and no punctuation.

Newbies can be turned off by that stuff. Its hard to read and understand.

I am on a forum, about tractors. One of the guys there, may even be a sponsor? But I know he makes and sells loaders and was an importer. The guy seems sharp but I think he said he only went through high school if he went that far maybe 5th grade? His spelling is horrific, think mines bad? And uses the wrong words all the time like your talking about like steak instead of stake. Bad punctuation if there is any. And rambles. He knows his stuff its just so hard to read.

Other times you get the new poster on there with no punctuation , capitalization, and all one big sentence. It will be like 30 lines long and hurts your eyes to read it. Many won't nor comment. Sometimes the mods will break it into small paragraphs but not fix the other stuff which even that makes it easy to read.....anyway my point is I get it.

Now here is where the work begins. First impressions are that compared to the few Huskys I have torn down this thing is a royal pain in the butt. Why the inboard clutch on this saw? I guess this is the first saw I have owned that has one like that? Here are some photos of the tear down and my pile of parts

I am pretty sure this is a bit of a problem! I'm not sure if I did this taking it apart or if it was the problem from the beginging. I know I saw fuel leaking before the tear down but the fuel line where it goes in the tank was also really loose. The filter looked good and the tank seems pretty clean on the inside.

Also the carb seems really clean however I forgot to snap a picture but the idle adjustment screw seem to have the screwdriver slot all messed up. I need to go back outside and look at that again.

I found the plug wire looked like it was split and had tape on it further investigation revealed this the plug boot is split and there is a metal wire coming off the boot and it hooks through the wire....... Is this ok or does it need replaced?

And here is where I screwed up........ I though you could pop the wire out of the throttle linkage and broke it off. Apparently it isn't removable? Is there a way to fix this or do I have to buy a new throttle?

Finally the piston look pretty good but it seems like there is a bit of carbon buildup on the exhaust side. I'm not sure it's carbon it more just feels rough on your finger .

Thats the first time I've heard an inboard clutch being called a "pain in the butt". Lol. Usually hear that about an outboard.

New plug boot, reset the hook in the wire, and repair/replace the kill wire, you should be in business. The kill wire IS normally removable.

Throw a fuel line in it of course. The carb looks clean on the outside, but it's inside that counts. I would correct the obvious issues first and see how it runs. That carb is easy enough to remove should you need to give it some more attention. Snap a pic of the messed up screw if you get a chance.

I guess what I meant about the inboard was it was a pain to have to tear it down just to remove the plastics on the saw. The carb looked great on the inside also, although at this point I probably have the carb settings screwed up enough that it need retuned anyhow. I'm going to screw them in and start fresh. Maybe the kill wire is removable but the tab broke off trying to get it out I will give it another shot.

Ok it was just bad info on my part the idle screw was just packed full of grime and is just fine. It does bring up another question though. The High and Low adjustment only make 3/4 of a turn off of the fully seated position which doesn't seem quite right to me. Is this normal?

Removing the plastics is a pain because of how the handles are tied in to each other. A few more screws than most saws to get it down to the point of where you are. At least you don't have to pull the engine. I have had a couple customers ask me about doing a piston/rings on a 1127 series saw. It's seldom worth it ($$ wise) unless the saw is pristine or it's a DIY job.
