Odd sunset last evening. I think maybe some smoke high up. Made for a beautiful sunset. My daughter inlaw got these on her phone.

Great pics SM! Looks like fun on the water. Swimming/tubing by day, fishing in the evening and cooking the days catch on the pit......:campfire:

I'm surprised they are changing already. My folks haven't mentioned it, but said the temps have been in the 70s still. This summer I think we had maybe 5 or 6 days that it got well into the 70s.

Our family vacation is next week and we're doing a bunch of day trips. We'll probably do at least two days at the beach in York.

Something I learned about recently is the Penobscot Narrows Observatory. I'd like to make it up there when the kids get a little older.

I like going there when the leaves are at peak for color. We take that in at the same time we do the loop in Arcadia national park. However, with kids you may want to do the fort which has the observatory next to it.

We go to Fort Mclary in Kittery Point at least once a year. My kids love exploring and the views are great.

My son and wife went to Eastport Maine today. All pic from there except the turtle which was one of several digging out of a hole along side the road in front of their home. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
