I didn't know any of the Maine mills made a 100% hardwood pellet. I know MWP doesn't but I don't know about Corinth or Maine Choice.
I wondered about that too Sub. Corinth doesn't make a 100% hardwood either. They do a blend and a 100% softwood. So Geneva it must be then, I don't know of any others either.
I don't think it's Bonita Sasher at it again. however, after getting nailed for a massive judgement for their pellet scam, they had another business, American Safe Rooms which supposedly built tornado-proof rooms in houses. Well guess what, they got sued for taking money and not building any safe rooms. Bill and Bonita Sasher filed for bankruptcy but the Bankruptcy Court tracked down financial records that showed they had more than $4 million stashed in numerous bank accounts with generic names. Back to this situtation.... There have been so.....many......GD......instances of scam companies taking preorders for pellets and then not delivering that no one should ever even consider dong it. Google "Stephen Zacynski Jason Tynan New England Pellet" (not to be confused in any way shape or form with New England Wood Pellets) for another one.
I took a look at the satellite view of this supposed plant and there are houses all over the place near it. Any thought of putting a pellet mill in such close proximity to houses should be quashed. TreeCycle LLC learned that the hard way....
Maybe 5...you know, get that great "discount" next time you order....well, IF they are up and running...
This is almost as promising as the money that I wired to my long lost uncle in Nigeria last year for my inheritance. He must be having issues with his internets because he never seems to reply to my emails.
So I stopped by the area today. Currently it looks like some sort of transportation company on the grounds. There was a notice posted about a public hearing near the driveway. It looked to me there was enough room to have some kind of manufacturing going on and it was right on a small river. Not sure it's big enough for any real hydro power like the add said, but who knows. I will check it out again come summer to see if anything changes.
