    Hi Jay
One of my friends put in a new oil tank next to his house like that and saved a lot of space because the old one was in his basement. He had a problem with freezing oil line especially on a very windy freezing cold day, so he ended up building a little wooden hut around it and permanently solved the problem. No ice and snow on the tank building up in the winter anymore too.
I upgraded my old oil filter which I called the dunking donut filter because it was not a spin filter and you had to remove the bolt on top cover and dunk your fingers in and pull out the messy dripping filter inside! LOL
I got the spin filter wit a WOG (Water Oil Gas) ball valve and a 5 year spin filter which I always mark with a permanent felt tip pen the date I installed the filter because I cannot remember when to change it otherwise! LOL
Also sine the old copper line turned green, I installed the new orange coated line which is code now. The spin top also has a nice gage to show when to change the filter too. I always keep extra filters and boiler spray nozzles and oil screens for the oil pump on hand for easy tuneups too. I like the spin filter as long as they are not put on too tight! LOL
    Nice job & Good luck
