That is a NICE pile of rounds, brother. I don't know about higher, but would go longer. Get all you can. And knowing this FHC family, you bet there would be a GTG if you got sick.

I can go a little more toward the road but don't want to block the view out of the driveway. With tree's down, I'm going to need to bring them home.

    Hopefully no where.

Back to the honey hole today. Took my son with me to run saws. Trees were already down, just needed bucked. So I had a new arsenal of tools to use. Number one was the Mingo Marker. Used the 14” wheel and added a ramp so it sprayed every 7”. Cut every 3rd mark for 21”.

should have bought one of these a long time ago! Very easy to use and super quick marking logs.

Andrew ran the XS365SP in the large stuff and I had my DD357 with an 18” on the smaller size wood.

Cut a trail wide enough to get my truck back to this wood and got one load.

Two hot Husky’s in a target rich environment. Trees didn’t stand a chance.

To save the best for last.. got to try out my new pickaroon and the pair of 12” log tongs. Backwoods Savage gave the tongs high praise and I know exactly why. Total game changer!! Why did I not get them sooner?!?! I won’t be caught without them from this point on. I did use the pickaroon a couple times, but my boy helped unload the truck so it’s primary use was not needed this time.

Thanks Jason. I've recently added one of the small log tongs. I wanted to try them to see if it would help with getting splits out of the totes. Yes! Those work good for that. They are shorter so it involves a little bending but not bad.

    I HATE the Raiders

    I’m a lifelong Broncos fan.

I’m jealous of that honey hole, but not your football team.

Just giving you a hard time:handshake: That was my best attempt at being mean

Lol, yep. Equal dislike for the horses and the chiefs. :wacky:

I was looking around a bit more today and I see probably another 6 or more trees to drop. It’s an unreal amount of wood to clean out.

One of my best friends is from Independence, Missouri. He lives here in CO. He’s a HUGE Chiefs fan. If there’s one thing I hate more than the Raiders, it’s the Chiefs. We get together whenever the Broncos and Chiefs play. It’s a miserable/good time - mostly miserable for me.

Yeah, I haven’t had anything to brag about for what, 25+ years. The only thing I can say is if you meet a Raiders fan, that’s one loyal sumbeach!!! :handshake:
