I appreciate the temps in Celsius. Your temps are quite similar to ours. We dip below 0 Celsius a couple of times each winter but mostly right around 2. Having a body of water surrounding our community makes the difference.

    Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion..

    °C x 1.8 +32 = °F

Easier to multiply °C temp by 2 and add roughly 30 degrees.. not perfect.. but is easier.

And to convert Fahrenheit to Celsius

    (F - 32) / 1.8 = C

Thanks mate. Visited Ballarat about 3 years ago when we were holidaying in VIC. I loved the old architecture and our walk around Lake Wendouree. Sounds like you are in the CFA and good onya for coming down and giving us a hand, we were in a bit of strife that summer. I'm also a volunteer in the TFS and was up at the Central Highlands around Miena and Waddamana that year.

You've seen a fair bit of Tas, but you'll have to come back and see the Central Plateau and Bruny Island.
