Well, even with the dolly this week old guy couldn't get it into the shed. I discovered how uneven the entrance is, how steep the ramp is, and how soft the ground is. :smoke:

Stopped in on Thursday and tried to dicker an employee down on the price… end of season, you don’t want to set on it all summer, blah blah, blah. He said he couldn’t do anything, but would check with the manager and call me.
Was back in town yesterday ( Monday) so I stopped. Talked to the guy, and the manager, after a bit of figuring and finagling, we settled on $900 all in and out the door. But they would have to use that guy’s employee discount to make it all work on their end. Well the cashier didn’t quite fully understand the whole deal and I ended up writing the check for $809.99

after we got it loaded I was looking at it some, and then I realized that it doesn’t have a hydraulic filter. Apparently that is part of keeping the costs of manufacturing down. Not engineering a filter into the system. Haven’t started it yet. Was dark by the time I got unloaded, so I’ll get some pictures tomorrow

Oh… it looks nice enough, the paint scheme is what caught my eye and made me walk over and look at it. Then I flipped the price tag and started looking harder. I googled it that night when I got home and seen that the asking price was about $400-$500 less than online prices. It’s going to need some mods to make it user friendly.
One hose was routed poorly upon assembly. Gonna need a log cradle added. No return filter. And the jack leg looks about as useful as teats on a (full) boar hog. But the price was good and I’m accustomed to making things work the way I want and think they should.
