    Look at getting StarDock's classic start menu; it is fairly cheap and makes a Windows 8.1 or 10 machine more like the old OS. You still have access to the tiles if you need them. I don't know about Windows 10 but on Windows 8.1, the StarDock classic menu will also let you turn off those annoying charm menus that also wanted to fly out and bug you.
