He's definitely happier when he's touching Badger. I will admit that when they are touching, that I'm more apt to take a pic or 5.
I don't know that Holly would take to a pup, definitely not like Badger has. Good stuff there to be sure Horkn
We had Badger and Hayden out on the lake again today. He likes to sleep a lot in the boat. I make a little towel tent/ shade for him so that he doesn't have the sun blasting on him. It was over 90° today. He makes up for his sleepiness afterwards once we get home. Then he's a spazz. I'm trying to tire him out since there is a severe Tstorm warning tonight.
We'll see how the wife does with little Hayden and me not being at home during the week anymore. He's been pretty good with crating, we don't create him overnight, as we let him sleep on the bed with us. After he gets up early, then he goes in the crate for an hour or 2. Honestly, that's probably all the longer he'll every be in a crate anyway. Just while he gets through puppy hood and teething.
I have 2, black one is 10 and yellow is 2. Only the yellow gets the zoomies now. I live next to a farm and we walk the dirt road every day, labs are the best hiking buddies. Enjoy!!!
Zoomies is really the best word to describe it. He did well today, but my wife says she's going to break his " morning person" habit. He's in his crate now. He was going after the the new flowers and plants we just bought and my wife just planted today.
I had to cut a piece of PVC pipe from the old sump pump to fit the new sump pump. Someone really likes it. All of these tots and he picks a piece of scrap. Lol
I weighed him on Monday, Tuesday he was 12 weeks old, and Wednesday he had his first vet appointment since we got him. He's 29 lbs! Doc was very impressed with him. I'm sure he's seen a lot of lab pups over the years, but he kept gushing on about on his looks and his knowledge of "leave it" as well as his recall. We get results from his tests today, but doc says he's doing great from what he could tell so far.
