That's what all of our friends say. The breeder got to see all of the great things our friends said about us on Facebook, being crazy dog people, taking them on most vacations, actually planning our vacations around the pups etc, so I know she was happy to read sentiments just like you said. That is the plan. Hopefully Hayden isn't a pill and allows us to enjoy the day. Hopefully the lake waterwarmed up a little and we can get him started on swimming.
We started Maple at that age.... she didn't have all her immunizations yet either, so we watched she didn't drink the water as much as possible. Maple's first boat ride, lol..... HAVE FUN!
The boating day went well. Hayden went swimming twice today. He did awesome. Lots of sleeping. I was busy with overseeing Hayden swim, but my friend took video of Hayden swimming. I'll see if I can get that. He likes the boat. I only went at idle out and back to our spot. I didn't want to scare him.
Hayden played a ton yesterday. We went to our friends house for a memorial day cookout. And here he is this am after getting me up sometime after 6 am to do his business outside. Back to sleep for him after he played this am.
I showed 99 the pics of the pup last weekend and she likes him. (of course) She even told me of an ad on a radio that listed "lab pups will be ready soon"..... never know, right?
You can definitely see the pirhana teeth though. Little one is sleeping after breakfast. These two are kind of inseparable
Was there anything in the U.P that stood out in your memory on that trip up there? Did you drive through Menominee?
Lake flies. Lol Yes, drove I-43 to GB, then up 41 through Marinette, Menomonie, to m35. I love seeing the LCS navy ships at Marinette Marine. While the ones there now probably have no hydraulic components that I had a part of procuring, I sure find them super interesting. Anything of note other than the lake flies? Not too much, but I've spent some time in the UP. My wife was interested in a few things up there though. When my wife and I first started dating ( cross country nonetheless) after picking her up from the airport early on, maybe the first time she flew here only to see if I was worthy lol, I took her up to munising for a weekend. The glass bottom boat wreck tour still is something that she talks about. That was very cool.
