Thanks for the suggestions guys. I believe the plan is to rebuild the hearth first as my wife does not like the floor tile it has now. That could delay any stove movement by a couple of months or more so don't hold your breath awaiting results.

Not a problem Matt. We bought our stove in early March and installed it around the last week of September. No need to hurry things.

When I saw it I thought it was actually copper like mine! Besides the effect of lighting there is probably just as much - or much greater difference in the color rendition within the camera, and then if you use a computer to edit the photos it depends on your computer screens color accuracy too! This can all lead to some greatly varying colors. Nice looking stove! Best of luck moving that in. Usually the hardest part is going up! It helped me that I picked mine up with my truck, and that the truck bed was about level with the porch. Else even just a few steps up turns into a huge pain in the butt. But if you're not worried about having it in until next burn season I'd take my time and get the hearth setup just how you want. Good luck!

The work light is definitely not full spectrum which throws off colors, then the camera in the phone isn't exactly color perfect, plus the software not being able to auto white balance with no white in the frame, all added up to that copper look. It really is a much more subdued reddish brown tone. Adding the white paper helped but I think I will need to use a real camera to capture to color properly.
