Mine is very similar. Ill take a pic when i get home in a few days. I put two tees into that box, then 4 shut off valves, then reconnected the loader on one side and ran direct to the splitter valve on the other.

You need to get the out and return lines right to the splitter valve or you might blow an oring in it...im sure you can guess how i know that.

Thanks on an off shot do you have problems with loader chatter when its really cold. Its only 15° today and the lift arms where chattering like crazy. Tractors this size are pretty new to me.

Mine does the same thing when its cold...often has to run for hours before the hydraulics will move when its real cold.

should look shiny and new. It only has three hours on it just got delivered sunday. It was a 2012 leftover i did not want a workmaster because they switched manufacturers. Its the first thing i ever bought like that that was new and i am proud as an old mother hen. now to figure the log splitter deal out. I was thinking also of doing some rigging on old wheel horse rider to power the pump and all. hard to say. figure it out when the weather breaks.

Once you get away from a splitter you can run off the tractor hydraulics directly with minimal cost, 3 pt splitters get real expensive compared to a self containe like the 22 ton huskee/speeco or similar unit. Timberwolf makes a few exceptional 3 pt models with self contained hydraulics but they arent cheap. Imo keep it very cheap or just consider your tractor to be a nice way to pull a splitter around.

Got the splitter cheap just trying to figure out how to power it. I could not hardly buy a new cylinder for what I paid for the whole shooting match. Necessity is the mother of invention. Still think the way you ran yours might be my best bet.

Adding versatility to you tractor by adding rear remotes would be my first choice & still allow you to use your splitter. I couldn't imagine not having rear remotes on my tractor.

Then you can take your time on designing & collecting parts for your ultimate splitter. I agree in the end you will want to have a stand alone splitter. This will allow you to use the tractor for moving rounds & splits to/from the splitter as well as saving on fuel & wear/tear on the tractor.

I don't have any pics of my plumbing hack but here is one of the 3 pt setup. The two hoses you see going into the splitter valve went to shut off valves on each of the tees coming out of the hydraulic junction box. The other side of the tees also had shut offs and then the hoses to the loader. So, there were always 2 valves open and two closed; loader mode or splitter mode.

Thanks. Might still do a set up like that just to have it. I got the pump I ordered today. Once I get the tank, hoses and misc stuff I am going to put the hydraulic chariot together.
