I have had a few, just sent out a 133 this week that I traded for a Poulan 5400 bow saw. Had a 510 and a 5105 and a number of 510/520/540 Makita variants as well as a couple of Makita chop saws. The only one I still have is a 143 rebadged as a Poulan 5500.

Welcome aboard . Nice saw indeed. Cant wait to see more picks of it on a pile of cut firewood :). Couldnt have picked a better saw if you ask me . Tired of all the orange colors !!
As for the the fella with the 510.....IMO...16 inch bar is perfect fit and balance for that size saw. Ive never had much luck using a max size bar on any saw. But.... Give that saw a chance to break in. I have a lil Dolmar 350 that just keeps running better and better. Also left the warranty behind and gutted the cat out of the muffler.... And removed the high speed carb adjuster blocker. Huge improvement. Shes a runner now for sure :)
A pic of the 350 after some work !!

I bought a 5105 last year. I run an 18" bar on it which is more than enough since I live in lodge pole country . I love how this saw runs with lots of power in a light package. Imho it is probably the 50cc saw on the market.
