Still takes up way too much space for my taste. Frankly, I wish it weren't there at all. I think a logo is a good thing, but this gets in the way.
Okay, I played around a little and realized my issue is that the logo scales with everything else. If I zoom in to make small text easier to read or to see detail in a photograph, that's when the logo becomes obtrusive.
All in all, I think it's looking great! Especially for one evening of "playing around" with a concept. Do you guys like the logo in general? I really like the way it came out! That is what the tee shirts and sweatshirts will look like once we get them into print......
I really like it. You've my Thumbs up.... You all are doing a great job. Thank you very much... Now when did you say those shirts where going to the printers...
I like the saw and the way you handled the FHC lettering. I'd probably choose another font for the rest of the text -- something with a vintage feel to match the antique saw.
It is showing up on all devices now . Good job ,Looks great , I like it , I have one of those saws in the shop that came from my late Father .
Hopefully soon......We've been in talks about it, I just need to make an initial investment in the venture and we should be good to go......I have a couple jobs lined up that should cover that.
Can you send me screenshots so I can see the problem? I have the logo roughly the same size of the xenforo logo that was there and it looks great on all the devices I've been able to see it on.
It's a small laptop screen, so it's necessary to zoom in quite a bit to make text and images decent-sized.
Just throwing stuff out there , sides look kinda bare. Maybe put up 2 more logos , 3 equally spaced or maybe circles on left n right with FHC in them , or something else IDK If you have time some where down the road . Or none of the above
Doesn't look too bad to me, Jon, but I think I can help you out anyway. I will create a variation of the main theme without the logo. It will be called Slim. Give me about 4 mins.
I think you could just use part of the logo, cropped to fit the shape of the space... I also wonder whether you couldn't use something like this as a background behind the other text at the top of the page, instead of stacking a header on top.
It looks good but it does seem kind of small just sitting up there in the middle all by its lonesome.
I added a new dark thread called Black Cherry, if anyone plans to read this site in the middle of the night with a spouse beside them in bed-- this theme may come in handy.
