Looks like you are getting lots done and Molly's neighbor's thought she was the weird wood lady before . Sorry things didn't work out the way I would have liked so I couldn't be there to help out.
For the best, no doubt. But you woulda whupped the Boogeyman, and the bear as well! You are a stand up guy for driving all that way to spot for Dave, and help load my trailer! Thanks, and see you soon again, I hope.
Great stuff you three. I wish it weren't such a travel after just getting off the road, but I'm backed up at work as it is. WeldrDave I hope to make a visit one of these days.
I snagged this screenshot from 8:30, last night. The blue locator is where we were. Thunder and lightning in the mtns is always nice to experience. But, everything would be soaked.
Yeah, we had a couple of bouts of strong thunderstorms - one late afternoon/early evening and another after dark. Funny how it rain whenever Dave comes up. He needs to get rid of that bad juju before they head up here for good
I took another drive out to Dave's place this morning, and loaded up the car again. He's been busy... Indian pipes...
Nice! He's on a mission. He told me yesterday, that he's cleared the way back to another big pine tree. Given the size, he won't fell it when he's alone. Tough work in these temps and dewpoints.
It was nice and cool under the trees, about 75°. It's 91° in Nashua. There are actually two pines, the second is a little behind the forked one.
He said the same to me. Lots of "ifs" to deal with before committing to returning. I'd go back again and help.
Oohh! Indian Pipes! I've been waiting for them to come up here. Good sign of a healthy forest and a very powerful medicinal. If they are coming up there, should be about two weeks out down here.
Dave texted me that he is packing up and heading back to NJ, ahead of more thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. Safe travels Dave!
