Long dead eucalyptus, dust bowl. Great firewood.

 

This one’s number is coming up. Probably about 5’ dia at the base.

 

took some back weight off

Pulled with the truck, pushed with the tele

ground shaker both hinge popping and landing

the butt log kicked the face cut wedge back onto the stump

tripped me out

Id like to live in a hot dry place like you do David. My wife and I are pretty tired of winter and not a fan of humidity.

Seems like you have some sort of fence to avoid with a good portion of those fells. Also...it's soooooo dry looking there. Even the live stuff looks crispy.

 

The pics of eucs rushes my mind back to Australia. Ah the times and memories...

I'm not mechanical at all, but even I can tell that 2nd pic up there looks no good. And I can't even tell what it is or which way is up....
