You guys are awesome, way cool cat on the stove! I defenately want to go free standing, i have access to free wood, both maple and red oak. This winter was tough here, coldest by 20%. I am able to do anything with the back, just not like I did at age 30, thats probably a good thing. I have almost one cord of maple ready for next season, and (5) 55 gallon barrels of very dry pine 1"x 8" x 2" . I can get more if needed. I also have plenty of windfall Red Oak limbs on the ground ready to be cut and stacked for 2015 season. LP is going for $1.96 a gallon today, but it was as high as $5.80@ gallon in February!!! Nooo thanks! besides i miss the cutting, splitting, stacking, and burning of wood. The soft smell of Silver Maple, the acrid smell of Red Oak, my two boys helped alot back in the day!
