    I cooked them to 170°. They were done, but still really firm. I cooked them about 7-8 hrs...still learning.

    So far really enjoy it. I did cheat a bit and put in a PID controller that holds temps a bit more consistent than the PB oem did. Plus its bluetooth/WiFi enabled and I can monitor the meat temps from my phone. :D

    Shoot, Jay will probably do it for him...He made an auger for my pellet stove and sent it to me for free!! jtakeman is on of the good knuckleheads, oops I meant pellet heads!!

    It was really simple Jeff, I just ordered a controller for the req tec grill that is PID and has wifi. The wiring was also simple as all pellet grill have the same components. Wires from the controller are all marked and you just need disconnect one controller and wire in the other. Making it fit the pellet hopper was the hard part.

    This one would fit your pellet hopper. and is much less $$ than I spent.
