Marked them all months ago . Got other family cutting.....so this keeps everyone on the same page ;) Not a waste of paint in my eye.

Yep but its expensive! I was thinking if you know what your cutting why mark them prior? Just look decide n cut. I just thought a waste of time but if others cutting that may not know...easier to tell them to cut the paint.

As a forester I like markin or having stands but it does take time.

Did you rope them down or just kind of toss them or were just lucky?

I notched them to fall where I wanted them and shaved the sides I wanted to be lighter so the weight would be on the tip side. No ropes ths time.

    I bought a Husky 460 four years ago. I burn 5-6 cords a year.
This spring I snapped up a CS-400 for $200. I the saw was great, but I bent the bar almost every time I used it.
I was in to buy another bar when I saw a NIB CS-590 for $300. I just wish I'd grabbed the repaired one next to it for the same price.
I run both saws (sold the 400) and got a good chance to try them out back to back on my latest scrounge. The 590 is a great saw, I really can't say which saw has more power. The only real difference I notice is that the 460 seems lighter when I swap over from running the 590.
I like the extra details the echo has like a see through tank and toolless air cleaner access. I also like the on off switch, I hit the off tab on the 460 every so often, but never the toggle switch.
I haven't pulled the spark plug yet, it doesn't look easy.
