Ya but being a MASTER of Monkeys is sorta like stuffing toothpaste back in the tube or trying to tame bears.

Just a quick question . How long does a thermocouple ceramic cover last ? I was wondering if I should order one to have on hand . CB 1200 3 years old .

Hmmm...good question but for $25 it's cheap enough to have on hand. You never know if you accidentally drop one of the heat exchange baffle/cover on it and break the ceramic. I still have the original one on hand from my 1200 that I'm now selling.

That's the most likely thing to happen . So what do you like more about your new stove Steve ?

Pretty much just the look of it and it's super easy to vacuum out. Heats like crazy like the 1200 but might use a little more pellets than is should maybe? Tough to tell yet.

The one thing is if I would have to work on it, where it sits in the corner, looks to be a pain in the azz to get to the comb blower. There's good and bad about both but the 1200 is easier to work on in my corner install.

Not very long if you take a 20 lb or so minor adjusting device to it.
