New Cabin - Is the Woodstock Absolute Steel appropriate for a 1000 sq ft cabin in Northern Minnesota

    I think the AS will work well. It is capable of healing larger homes, but if it's too warm just don't fill the box, and make a smaller fire. Also, the location of the stove in relation to the people and the other rooms in the home plays a part as well. You may need a more powerful heater on a single story in Wisconsin. (Brrrrrrr!!!) I think I'd rather have 25% more capacity than not enough. We just went through a 10 day spell here in northern Massachusetts where it was -20'F for over 10 days. That AS did itself proud. :)
