it always amazes me what cutting the lawn can do to make a place look so different. Some of the videos I watch are people cutting lawns and cleaning up properties that have gone wild. Great job you two.

I understand that sentiment. I don't know what he has going on...

His ex across the street has called and wants us to cut her grass as well, probably this week...:thumbs:

Miz Carol's ladies circle insisted on paying us to do the yard, so that sentiment may be deserved. If she wants us to keep the yard done next year, we will give her a good deal. Believe me, our mowers cut more than just our yard for free...:loco: :loco: :picard::doh:

We did another little job for a neighbor. His son has a small lawn care business, he has one yard about 15 miles from our house, the owner had 2 really big pine logs and some brush they wanted removed. We went down Monday afternoon and got'ter done.
2 piles of brush and smaller logs, this wound up being a trailer load. 20261026_140710.jpg

They are 35"+ and 16' long, cut each one in 4' sections. Used the XS461 w/25" bar... Messenger_creation_2B70B6F2-9387-4E0D-857F-E181975C40F8.jpeg

Got both logs on trailer, stood last 2 pieces on end at back of trailer Messenger_creation_51EBA311-4681-45B8-B47A-47F3855313AC.jpeg
A friend we did some work a couple miles from there, let us dump it on a clear cut that will soon be burned...

Yeah my commercial Z turn is 13 years old and has 350 hours. Family, landscapers, teases me he gets 2x that in a summer. Yeah I have mowed neighbors yard; who hasn’t had mower die in middle of job.:mad:Since my house sits in back when I mow I see neighbors. My elder neighbor had a stroke so I saw he was outside when I was mowing. I went over, on mower, and chatted with him. When he went inside, I noticed grass was tall so mowed his 1.5 acre yard and went home.
His son tried to pay me, NO he is my neighbor
His son (50 yo) gave $$ to my daughter (then 16)
Fine I went to local mower dealer, and used that $$ plus more add striping kit to his mower ( his mom really liked the stripes) :p I will lose this battle because he owns hardware store in town. He gave my wife better than Walmart price on starting fluid and break cleaner last week. This friendly fued going on for over 5 years
