Oh I have many of those on my street. Across my lane is one. I always say if it goes for sale Im buying it, have a huge bon fire and building a pole barn. A house down the road sold for $10,000.00 so you can imagine what that looks like. 10Gs was still to much imho. But to each their own.
Looks like walnut to me. And most likely from these parts. Actually, might have some value for milling if it’s big enough, hard to tell from the pics if it’s big enough? Both trees look good and healthy enough to cut downX. I would have a hard time cutting them down unless the owner is adamant about removing them. If she is it’s milling then or firewood!
Its nice, really nice. I'm glad I bought it.....and on sale too. I'm glad I didn't go with my first choice the"farm boss". As long as I can keep the chain sharp and keep up on regular maintenance it should last me a long time
It might just be a highly valuable walnut tree. But probably not... In my area, I don't know of any mills that would take a yard tree. I think it's firewood if it's cut down...
2nd is not elm. I think they look pretty easy to drop. Id do it if it was my neighbor. If it is walnut they can be pretty messy yard trees, might be why she wants it gone
