The military once sent me to work at Walter Reed Medical Center inside the DC beltway. I had to live in a condo during that tour. I was on edge the whole time. Was so glad to get to rural Maine. I moved a lot. The most friendly city was San Antonio in Tx. I found I have to live where I can hear the trees whisper. Peace of mind and spirit is worth the move.

She did call the police back in 2008, but my fire was huge admittedly with that incident. She's ridiculous, and I think she'll be moving at some point since she has already bought a replacement home. I guess they're in no hurry, but it's time to go. :(

Good news on the neighbor moving soon. The new question will be who the new homeowner will be. They can't be anything like you had (could they?)

When thefor sale sign goes up, be sure to burn as often as you can so whoever sees the home is aware of your habit. They will either be eager to move in on keep looking!

I grew up in a small town and moved to the "Big City" for opportunities. Wife was born and raised urban, but fortunately for me, she is very agreeable to the advantages of a different life. Once we accumulate enough equity in our home, she will start to see things my way, but her job and income depend on work in a big city so we can't move to far into a rural area.

I had never really driven in an area even with stoplights before joinng the Air Force and moving to Alaska. Driving in Anchorage was o_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_Oo_O for quite a while till I got used to it.

I lived in Houston for ~6 months and it was not fun at all. We had a plain jane blue Air Force E150 Ford van to go from the hotel to Ellington Field. Someone stole a mirror and the AM/FM only radio while it was parked at the hotel. :hair:
