    A few weeks into the burning season they were overheard saying:

    She, "Have you been cleaning the glass window on the stove?"
    He, "No, I though you always did that once or twice a week."
    She, "That's strange, I haven't had to do it at all. I wonder what has been keeping the glass so clean."

    When we were at their house last year,for an hour or so he opened the insert I think 2x and poked the splits around and loaded a new one to pre dry before it was really needed I assume. You could barely feel the heat in the room. My wife said after we left that she did not know there was a fire uñtill he opened it, there was so little heat.

    They have an old smoke dragon Craft stove so they can get away with it a bit more. I opened the insert this summer when we watched their house and it was a creosote factory on the inside. Looked like 1/4 buildup inside the insert!!!
