    From an EPA standpoint, its how many hours they have to meet the current emissions standards for the year they are manufactured. Professional grade products have a 300 hour rule. Home owner products I've seen as low as 50 hours on the sticker. That was a cheap weed eater brand trimmer. That 300 hour deal is why Echo says all their equipment is professional grade as far as their engines go. That does not mean their CS310 is "pro" saw. Lol. The P and now The X indicates their professional line.

    Now, pro vs homeowner out side of that epa nonsense.....
    Like stated, pro units are usually lighter and more powerful than equivalent CC homeowner saws and are made of stronger materials like magnesium vs plastic ect.

    Hey the new mill is awesome the computer is really good if this dummy could get together and figure it all out it will really help I have been real busy last sunday we did @850 bd ft ash framing lumber some 16 ft oak and some locust the power jump really speeds up the process I am bad getting time for pictures but I will try to remember to get some posted ,as to opening can of worms Bowtie only for me :rofl: :lol: JB

    Well, ive thought about it and being my first real pro saw from a few years ago i didnt want to part with it, but having cut with Dave Sirchopsalot, he could use a bigger saw. Hopefully i get visitation rights if i do. :rofl: :lol:
