Not a saw fanatic, but recently purchased a 254 ported by zoo city. I have only ran 1 1/2 gallons through it but I am loving it. Hands down. No comparison to my stock MS250. Don't even want to get the MS 250 out anymore. I wanted a saw that would swing a 20" bar. Haven't bought the large bar and chain yet, but it should have no problem getting the job done. Kind of coming around to porting.

I believe I had that saw here for a few months last summer. It'll run a 20" .325 with an 8 tooth rim all day. Torquey.

    Randy builds a great saw
