Not really... I’ve only put warranty on one pair of those... the soles came undone. I found something I liked and my feet are happy... I started off with Justins work boots and after 3 months they were done. I did that for about 1 1/2 years... before I started looking for something better.
I bought a pair of Dr Martin's industrial boots once at the advice of a coworker. Incredibly comfortable boots, but they didn't have the arch support I needed, and I ended up with plantar fasciitis in both feet as a result. Year of hell as a result.
I have little experience with them for waterproofing. Attached is the model I have. Good solid brand and as mention really comfortable. Good Luck!!! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I've tried Carolina,Rocky, Red Wing Wolverine over the years and can't get a year out of any of them. The Wolverine Durashocks were the best. They quit making the style I liked and I bought Danners. I'm 2 years on the Danners and little sign of wear. They were $10 cheaper than the Wolverines. Wished I had bought them years ago but I had never heard of them.
Which Danner? I wear Wolverine durashocks @ the store during the week. Maybe a different style than you had?
I bought my cousin a pair of Gore Tex Danners hunting/hiking boots on sale a few years ago (they didn't have my size ). He has been wearing them almost daily since and just loves them. He reminds me frequently.
Danner- Vicious I have a pair of the Vicious hunting boots also which I haven't worn much. Only negative thing I can say about Danners is they take a long time to break in. Get some gel inserts and boot grease right from the start to speed up the break in .
I just ordered a pair of the Timberland Pro Hyperion Ballistic Nylon work boots. The Gore Tex and Vibram sole edged my decision for these boots over the Timberland Pro Resistors I posted above.
I like Rocky boots too. They are reasonably priced and seem to last a long time. I'm going on 5 or 6 years on my current pair and there isn't a thing wrong with them.
Never was picky about the boots I have worn but a Hydro dude here on the board pushed these on me. I'll be using them for everything I do so hoping they last longer than a year as with the cheaper ones I always wore. $325 even with the city discount. Royer 8
Irish setter upland hunter they’re a 8” boot excellent aggressive tread, however you will track mud in the house with them.
