    This reminds me. I cut a standing dead chinese chestnut down last year and never hauled it home.
    Is chinese chestnut a good wood?

    Comparing leaf pictures I'd guess Chinese chestnut.

    Still so much for me to learn and remember and so few brain cells left to accomplish that task !:rofl: :lol:

    Nothing wrong with that, I have a lot to learn too. This is my 3rd winter burning wood and I’m addicted
