Need help identifying a part that needs replacing.

    If you mean that metal rectangle with the screw holes I wouldn't even know where to begin on taking that thing off.

    Not just that part that won't give you enough room. You will need to remove the whole back part of that metal frame. And possibly some brick. An angle grinder and a hammer works fine
