I cut and split about a half Cord of seasoned oak. My wife Went along with me and helped Me along. She wanted to try her hand at splitting with the maul and wedges and split a large piece of red oak in half. Having been amazed at her self she proceeded to quarter the piece but made a miss lick and split my new hickory handle. Does anyone out there have a source of quality made in America hickory handles for axes and sledges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
