nc-13 door gasket

That's what I was thinking , the stuff was old , outdated but then again I bought the goop at a stove dealer,Konieczka Heating and Cooling , maybe their installers use something else and the stuff I bought just sets in the back room getting old, never looked for a date on the stuff but ,I will now

Well , I thought I had everything I needed to do the job, I didn't want to drive 20 miles to get more when I had my door laying there half filled with goop, wanted to get the job done, and the day I did it was a warm day but was going to need heat that night .

I just ordered 2 different kinds , (will be here in 2 days) , to fix the loose spots , we will see how they are.
Stove been workin fine but might leak air latter when it gets real cold with a real strong draft .

HDR, that's the dealer I was looking to get a BK from a couple years ago, before I got the 30.

Just got the new gaskets for SIL's 13, and they came with a tube of sorta hi-temp RTV.

 

Don't know, they had a Princess set up, I mostly just looked at the tube stoves when I was there.
I was thinking about using some hi-temp RTV

 

Door is back on the stove. All good again for a one load fire.
It was 41 inside but one hour and 15 min later, 71.
I think the cottage is officially closed for the season. Emptied everything that could freeze, anti-freezed the plumbling drains.

Only forgot a 12-pak of Dew....(so far, that's all I forgot)
