    Ready to burn: Red oak, mulberry, cherry, pine (oak 4 years split, rest 3 years split) 5 cords total

    Still seasoning: mulberry, cherry, maple (1 year split) 1 cord

    I'm burning about 1-1.5 cord per winter plus scrap lumber.

    This years wood will be ash, cherry, white oak, red oak, beech, shag bark and bitternut hickory.
    In the bullpen for next year is all of the above plus some sugar.

    Just a few miles inland gets you some hi BTU woods like Rock Maple, Yellow Birch, Beech.

    The only wood in my stacks right now are Shagbark Hickory, Red and White oak (80%) and Mulberry.
