A couple buddies and I raised this today. Very heavy beast, way bigger than my other ones. Ran out of 2x4's for the rungs, so those top two are temp with huge gaps, I needed to get in with the level while I had help to pick it up to put pavers under the legs to plumb it out... Its ridiculously large inside, looking forward to next season!

Neat little 'room', was that pre made or did you build it? That platform you built..... well it would hold up the proverbial "brick chit house"

Nice! Once I get my logging mess cleaned up, I am gonna build a shooting shack as I call them. Gonna put mine at ground level so I can take the dog hunting with me.

I thought you just used the barn and shot them when they were on the driveway so you didn't have to drag them...

Thats an awesome stand, Ej! :dex:

(In the interest of safety, and since this stand will be out in the elements for its entire life, could I offer a better design for the ladder? Starting with a much narrower ladder with shorter (stronger) rungs.
I'm not trying to be the safety police, just don't want a friend to get hurt.):emb:

Yes, I'm a hunter of opportunity.

They don't all cross the driveway though. Sometimes I have to go 50 Yds up the hill. I'd like to have a shot of the foodplot which is the reason they even cross the driveway . Firstworld problems, right? Lol.

We got one up this year looking over my 2 food plots (one of the plots is in my avatar.) We would like to get a couple more up this summer.

Hunting is so different here than out east. No blinds and food plots are illegal. No doubt it has a lot to do with the population growing like crazy, but you have to hike in miles and miles (no motorized vehicles) to get near game and away from hunters that are there to party.

Still a very cool tiny house!
