We have had close to 30 inches here in Beacon in the month of February and none of it has melted since its been in the teens and single digits. Went to dig out some wood today as we were running low inside. By the way, that small sled is the best gift I have ever gotten, its a life saver and a back saver especially on days like today.

Good to get it inside for a while so the wood can dry off some.
    Great pictures :)

Oh does that bring back memories of pre wood shed ,
with tarps & snow covered stacks,
& the many times I had to dig wood out of the snow.

Yep, this is about 2.5 months before I began building the shed.....I'd had enough.
Out the front window.....right about where the shed got built.

Very willing partner Papa. At first she wasn't a fan of all the work that it entails but she has really embraced it over the last few winters. She helps bringing it into the house. Wont go near a chainsaw or an ax. She does like to stack though.

You "snow hogs" are taking all the snow this year. Stop & share some please:

Possible they will need to move the start of the Iditarod sled dog race to Fairbanks
    Now snow here
Please send the snow west !
We need & we'll take the snow , need lots :)

    California mountains needs some too.

    :) :) :)

Huh... We got 3-4" here in Palmer over Friday and Saturday. Some blew away but my yard doesn't look anything like that!

Has been an average snowfall this year according to the TV news. I can't find anything online to confirm that, though I know it was getting pretty deep before we got the thaw.
