    Washed and cut short enough just to fit in the steamer.

    Steams for about 10 minutes. Soon as it starts to shrink, turn off the heat and it's ready.

    I really like this green. I could easily eat double what's in the steamer all by myself!

    We made the meatloaf last night and it was quite tasty. It had a much more palatable taste than straight burger/peppers/onion - something about those apples. Anyone a touch scared of the flavor melting GO FOR IT:chef:

    When Campinspecter's sister first gave it to me, I was a little leery about the apples but as you said, it really makes the meatloaf. I froze one and since then, thawed and had it for another lunch. It did really well.
