I would have to wait on shipping from Menards, I am excited to get her burning.

That may be the 20% discount; a sign stated that heating stuff was discounted 20%.

Is it possible it was $3oo off the selling price? If I knew the zipcode of the store you were at I might be able to make arrangements;)

This was the stove, I remember it was sitting on legs. Ashley Bay Front Pellet Stove with Legs - For Life Out Here

I think to get free shipping it has to be by UPS. However, talk to the store manager and see if you pay up front if they will order one sent to the store by their regular shipping for free; it never hurts to ask, all they can say is no.

Thanks Kimberly, I misread your post. I interpreted discounted to $300, not discounted by $300. And, my nearest TSC is over 100 miles anyaway. All good, still have the little wood insert on that side of the house:)

I will keep a lookout on this stove; we are still in the heating season yet. Let's see what happens if it is still there near the spring; they might give a deep discount on it. There is a fasternel for shipping; like we did on the first stove that I got but couldn't use.

Right where I want to be.
Yep, pull the screws, slide the pieces apart and do whatever. If there's some creo in the pipe, it might get a little stuck, though.

Nothing at the moment. We had a new member that knows stoves tell me that it was not worth repairing. I thought maybe use it in the shed; of course there is no chimney in the shed and figuring out where it could be put; it is a small shed. I feel badly about that stove because members on here helped to get it shipped to me. There was good intentions all around but I still feel bad.

I feel bad too because my brother-in-law fell when we were getting the stove up on the porch, it was my fault because I put a small ramp at the kitchen door; the porch is too low from the door, and he tripped over it. He was basically under the hand dolly thingy with the stove on top. He said he was not hurt and I rang earlier to make sure.

That was going to be a question I was going to ask. Once I get the pipe together, I drill and put screws through the joints?

Maybe you could pay it forward? Seems I remember a lot of people helping out in every way imaginable (not just the stove). It would be a shame to have it just sitting in a shed, no?

There is a classified section here and wouldn't it be nice to help out someone else?
