Update on the blower. When I filled out the application for the blower I included a pic of the shipping bol not the invoice from the sale. I had to call to find this out. I sent the invoice Wednesday. I did not get a conformation email.

So no blower has not showed up. No confirmation email. I called today and was on hold for half hour ended up leaving a call back message. At this point it’s looking like the drolet will be evicted at the end of the season and old faithful will be put back into service. I tried the new stove technology twice. I know know why people here say you can’t heat from the basement. You can do it but you need a Mack truck not a Toyota.

I don't have any problems heating from the basement with a tube stove, but I have insulated basement walls.

The HT3000 is probably what I'd get if I had to replace the nc30 right now.

Yeah some insulation in the basement would help quite a bit.

I started out heating with wood from the basement...colossal failure...burnt a pile of good hardwood up trying though! :hair:
Well, I guess I do still heat from the basement...but now with a wood forced air furnace...:D

The old stove would do it no problem.

Scary! Hate to see that oil use.

Kick that new blower on and letter rip! See if it moves some heat for ya. Let us know after day or two if its making much significant difference.

Checking for a update on the blower getting heat moved about? Hope you didn't experience the extreme cold we had!

The blower definitely is helping. We did not get the cold blast that you guys got. Have had only a couple below 0 days.

You'll most likey get everything dialed in around the time you stop burning.
