    Griz didn't ask what would you do.

    Maybe you could say with all do respect like Rickey Bobby did....that's the free pass to be rude:rofl: :lol:

    He didnt ask me personally but did ask. I quote his first line.

    "I am excited big time but I need yalls thoughts. It came with a 18 3/16 set up. I want a 16 inch bar 3/8..."
    :banana::banana:
    I have a blunt personality and I fully appoligize to Griz or randy if I offended them but that was not the purpose.

    Were all here for good times advice and to share stuff. I was offering my small no count opinion and it seems like it was similar to others in chain set up. I dont read all posts before I post a response.:D:saw::saw::handshake::handshake::dennis::dennis::firepit:how about some smilieys to lighten the mood.

    No problem there it just gives me something to play with and me and my stihl dealer are tight and he will swap me out and I am going to run the saw of my dreams. I am VERY proud of my saw.

    I messed up on another one too.......it was suppose to get 3/8 low pro.

    I think I remember Griz telling me that whatever I liked on that saw was fine with him.......but he's changed his mind. OR.......I messed up.

    Either way......no big deal.

    Thanks for being a great guy to work with here Randy.

    I'm the oddball who decided to buck the odds and mine will run 3/8" Picco on 16" bar for firewood. The rest of my fleet runs standard 3/8".

    I expect the my cut time to be split pretty evenly between the 261C-M and the 362C-M. With so much limbing and bucking the branches, I think the Picco will make this saw like a light saber.....ok....I.hope.

    That thing is throwing some chips bud!! :dex:

    What is that set up? Was it 3/8" or .325? I seen the title of square ground, but I know Jon does both sizes. :yes:

    That Picco is some amazing stuff. I was thoroughly impressed by MasterMech's saw at the GTG with it!! :dex:

    Granted his chain was worked over by Hedgerow (good job bud :thumbs:), but the theory of narrow kerf makes sense. :)

    If only all of my lifetime's decisions made on theory had been the right ones!! ;)

    Safe enough bet, I believe, that at least it won't suck.
