    Looks like a nice processing area. I split a whole lot for many years by hand until the body told me it was time to get hydraulics.

    Me as well, in my case I couldn't keep up with the quantity of wood to be split.

    I think maybe these other guys missed your point :)
    Splitting some wood by hand definitely does relieve some stress:yes: been there done that
    You can even picture a certain person's face on top of the wood if that's the case :mad: and stay out of jail:)

    Not that I'm usually very stressed, but anything I do with my wood de-stresses me. Just walking around my stacks with a coffee in the morning, or gassing up the saw will do the trick. Anyone who rides a Harley Davidson (or any bike) and plays with a chain saw, has no need to see a therapist.:cool:

    Yup, same thing here. Decades of splitting by maul. Both neighbors walked over and said I need to take a break while I was splitting one year. Must've sounded like a steam locomotive! Took their advice and probably lived longer......
