    I just stumbled across this and it wasn't what I thought. Lots of folks feeling gravity's effects, and other mishaps. The end of it has some good stuff on how to do it right.

    Wow i haven't seen that video before. I love the 3rd clip. Where did the guy who was videoing (from below the leader) think it was going to go? Freakin idiots! :picard:

    I watched a few then the computer locked up so I'll try again later.

    But something I don't know if this guy will comment on is that in those early videos he showed, they were cutting limbs but not one did an undercut first! Had they done this, a couple may have been okay but regardless, placing a ladder like that and expecting good results is foolish.

    If I am cutting a limb off a tree, BEFORE I START CUTTING, I AM STRAPPED TO THE TREE IN A SAFE MANNER. Those idiots were just standing on ladder.

    Nice video. One thing I always try to remember is (the basics)to keep hands on the outside working the rails of the ladder not on the rungs or steps while going up or down and keep belt buckle in between the rails while reaching.The ladder angle should be the feet of ladder touching toes and the rails hitting palms arms fully extended out straight.
