    What? You want a video?

    Just ask buddy ;)

This thing is Nasty now. I almost didn't like it at all stock. (When compared to my 460). For a 70cc saw, it held its own. But now? Now it will make a stock 460 run and cry.

If it makes you feel better, the 362 has been around for quite awhile, just without the M-Tronic system. M-Tronic has been around almost as long as the 362, but it was introduced on the 441. I have heard nothing but awesome about M-Tronic, regardless of which model it's on, 241, 261, 441, and now the 362. It is only recently the two have been married. Owning two M-Tronic saws, I can honestly say, fear not the electronics. They have done nothing except improve every saw they've touched so far.

To be fair, the 562 had some teething pains being a totally new design, (I've not heard of any recent issues) but it's performance keeps attracting fans. The AutoTune Husky's do have some different starting procedures than you are used to so if you go that route, make sure you read up on warm/hot starts.

It's a tough decision you have there. But the good news is you really can't lose either way.

That wood wasn't big, but is was wet Elm. I was pushing about as hard as could (I prob could have lifted my feet off the ground :))

That's just the 7 pin. Was gonna put the 8 pin on, but last time I ran the 8, the E clip broke on me and I had to make a trip to the dealer.

I think I might have a potential buyer on my 361. The wife gave me the blessing on a new saw. The stars are aligning.

I say the MS 362C-M or the 441C-M and never need anything bigger. Will own a 28" bar for the BIG stuff

How much did you want for your 361? (To lazy to go back and see where you posted it).

I didn't post the 361. I've come across exactly two trees I couldn't handle with a 20" bar that I had any desire to turn into firewood so 60cc is a good size for me.

Get them to put it on their next stock order. Depending on how many saws they move, they may order every couple weeks. One of those dealers has to be getting ready to order up some goods...... Maybe if the original dealer knew he had a customer for it, he'd order one along with a few other fast-moving trimmers/blowers/saws?

Lots of ways to get a saw in fairly quick, somebody shouuld be able to have it by the week end for ya.

They talked like they could have them the next day everywhere I called. Once place I called said I didn't want a 362CM...said I'd be better off with a 391 because it has more power....OK...thanks for your "help".

Shipping to the dealership from our distributor was often 1-2 days via truck freight. Onsey/Twosey orders were UPS but you will pay shipping on those. There are minimum $$ amounts they have to hit to get free freight. It used to be $1500 but I highly doubt it's that low these days. But I used to be able to throw 2 saws like the 362 (one for my cust, one for stock ;) ) on an order with a couple handheld blowers and a trimmer or two and make the world go 'round for another day.

Ordered mine on a Thursday, it was into the dealer's place by the following Monday PM, although I couldn't pick it up until the next day.

Love my MS-362, really goes through the +22" black walnut I have around here!

Should be here Thursday. I won't be able to pull the rope on it until the weekend.

Any break-in advice? Never had a new 2-smoke engine.

Run it like you stole it... ;)

Just make sure that it's under load when at WOT. Otherwise? Run it.

    Pull trigger, cut wood.

No special rules involved, but I do try not to rev the pizz out them with no load.

How many tanks before I consider it "broken in"? I remember reading that these things get stronger after the first few tanks.

My wife's uncle had some of his land logged. He's been bringing over the end cuts and rejected logs by the semi-dump trailer load. There's plenty of wood to be had....hopefully I can get some trigger time this weekend. The last load had a little bit of everything in it....got my eye on some big white oak chunks for trying this thing out.

By the end of 4-5 tanks you can consider it "broken in". But it will continue to get stronger after that. The initial break-in, I'd say the first two tanks, was the most dramatic awakening for my 261, and I'm very happy where it wound up power-wise a gallon or so later. I would expect similar results from the 362.
