    Scrench holder?

Take the handle off. Let the scrench holder get warm by setting in the sun. Spray some WD-40 on it and be very careful. I may have used small screwdrivers to help it slide over the bumps on the handle.

I have updated my MS261 MC slant head version with the dogs and it was an ultra easy install 8mm and the standard torx bit. The parts from my dealer were $38 and took a week to arrive. Thanks for the help!

So are those scrench holders species specific or would they fit huskies also, or does Husqvarna have em also? I want some

It's really not necessary. But it gets you the roller chain catch.

That I’d good to know. My Dolmar 5105 has 2 sets of dogs on it just curious that my MS261 only has one set.

Another reason for the dual dawgs is when bucking bigger logs you get a straight pull on the saw & a straighter cut. Usually not a big deal unless you really "dawg" into a log.

I had a Husqvarna 350 and the handle was a smaller diameter, making the scrench holder loose. I can measure the handle diameter of a stihl so you can measure your saws.

These work good if you don't need the roller.

    Fits 260/1 360/1/2
