Made it to topeka, warm n humid. My ears popped so many times today as elevation reduced. Only stopped for construction once. Guess where? Left at 7:30 MST this morning, arrived at hotel at 9:15 cst. Our little cat did beyond what could have asked for, he's little travelling companion! Only mistake so far is I had an outfit ready in my bathroom, but instead jumped into truck in my pj's and lefty only pair of shorts for this trip with that outfit behind.
Scissors are your friend, make some shorts. You are going south after all. Lol. Folks have been trimming off their britches for comfort for ages. Ratty looking cut offs sell for big bucks in stores.
Can't believe I almost missed this! Happy travels wildwest One piece of advice, if you something is bugging you on the trip go ahead and buy what fixes it. My son and I drove 4500 miles this summer and the little cooler we bought at Walmart and funky/ugly travel shirts purchased along the way really made the trip more pleasant and fun.
I think I brought 2 jeans that almost fit, I'll do one of those, thanks, worn cut offs my whole life but in a dizzy whirl wind last week
Oddly enough, I think I recall a big billboard along the Interstate in Kentucky or Tennessee advertising a brassiere shop. I think maybe west of Nashville. The useless “to me” information stored in my head is astounding. Just don’t ask me to remember something important.
Safe travels! Oh waze and Google maps both show speed traps, cops, other issues like road debris. Both are the preferred map apps. Both owned by Google FWIW.
