    First attempt on a cherry round. I have a snapped poplar I can drop and give a try. The stand is maybe a half foot higher than I cared for. Need to clean it up some and work on the stem a bit.

    And using Cherry!
    I’ve been sticking with the white pine. It cuts easy and it’s what I have.

    The other thing of note of the white pine is what I think are Sawyer Beetle larvae

    Pop it in a smoker low n' slow for a few hours and cook 'em.

    I actually put some wood for a wood working project in the oven on the lowest temp for two hours.

    Even stick it in a black trash bag in the sun for a few hours.
