Title means nothing, just something one of my kids just said while I was thinking of a title.
Anyway, found a break in the work list today and tried something I’ve been wanting to.
Had fun and will certainly do it some more.

I couldn't make a straight cut if you paid me to - or you asked me to make a deliberate roundish shape :picard:. That is cool.

i think it was something that Scotty Overkill posted a while back that put the thought in my head.
Learned some things from this one, which was part of goal.

may make time today to try it again.

maybe use a T handle saw

I like the shape of yours. A light spray paint of colour and it would look great.

It could be painted. Or maybe, a light toasting with a torch. If the toasting looks like crap, it can always be painted over.

"knee high by fourth of july" used to be a thing but probably not any more with all the genetics of the last few decades. All the silage fields that are left around here have been converted to timothy grass or similar. There's a few beef cattle around but milk industry has dried up around here.

That knee high by the 4th of July has been misunderstood for many years. What it really means is that if the corn isn't knee high by the 4th it will not make good corn. It could still be uses as silage but as field corn you won't get much. Of course, the further south you go the more chance you have of it still making it..
